In Loving Memory of Nolon Haag

It is with profoundly heavy hearts that we share the passing of Nolon Haag, a beloved first-grade student and a cherished member of our Panther family. Though his time with us was far too short, Nolon’s presence left a lasting imprint on our school community—one that will be remembered with love, tenderness, and gratitude.

Nolon was a quiet light among us, known for his gentle demeanor, warm smile, and unique spirit that spoke volumes without needing many words. In classrooms, hallways, and shared moments of learning and play, he touched every corner of our school. His kindness, patience, and quiet leadership shone through in the way he treated others, reminding us all of the beauty found in compassion and empathy.

Beyond the school walls, Nolon was deeply loved by his family and was especially treasured for being the very best big brother. His love, care, and protective heart were gifts that will forever be held close by those who knew him best. The impact he made—as a son, a brother, a friend, and a student—cannot be measured by years, but by the love he gave and the lives he touched.

As we face this unimaginable loss, we recognize that grief affects each of us differently. Some may seek quiet moments of reflection, others may find comfort in sharing memories, and some may need additional support as they navigate their feelings. During this difficult time, it is essential that we come together as a community—to lean on one another, to listen, and to care with patience and understanding.

Counseling services and grief support will be available for students, staff, and families. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you or your child need someone to talk to. There is no right or wrong way to grieve, and no one should walk this path alone.

We will share information regarding memorials or other ways to honor Nolon as it becomes available. In the meantime, we hold tight to the memories that reflect who he was—his kindness, his quiet strength, his gentle leadership, and the joy he brought simply by being himself.

Nolon’s life, though brief, made a meaningful difference. His light will continue to shine in the hearts of those who loved him and in the spirit of the Panther family he will always be a part of.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Nolon, the Haag family, and all who are grieving this tremendous loss. May we honor his memory by supporting one another with care, compassion, and love.

Rest peacefully, sweet Nolon. You will always be remembered.
