LENOIR, N.C. — The Lenoir community is mourning the tragic and untimely loss of Conner James Drum, 32, whose life was taken in a homicide that occurred Wednesday, January 21, 2026, in the 1100 block of SW Tara Place. The Lenoir Police Department confirmed Conner’s identity following notification of next of kin, marking a heartbreaking moment for family, friends, and all who knew him.
Conner James Drum was a son, a friend, and a valued member of the Lenoir community. Those closest to him remember a man whose presence brought familiarity and connection, someone whose life touched others in meaningful ways.
