The Fairfield Police Department received a 911 call at approximately 8:57 a.m. on January 24, 2026, reporting that a male was found not breathing. Upon arrival, police determined that Jason Grant was deceased and contacted the Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit Central to assist with the investigation.
State Police Detectives and Evidence Technicians responded promptly, working throughout the day conducting interviews and gathering evidence at the scene.
