With deep sadness and heavy hearts, we remember and honor the life of Abraham Corral, age 34, of Yuma, Arizona, who tragically lost his life following a fatal motorcycle collision on Saturday night, January 24, 2026. This heartbreaking incident has left family, friends, and the Yuma community mourning the sudden loss of a life taken far too soon.
According to the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded at approximately 9:24 p.m. to a report of a vehicle versus motorcycle collision at the intersection of West County 14th Street and South Avenue B. Upon arrival, investigators determined that a 2014 Harley-Davidson Softail Deluxe, traveling northbound on Avenue B, collided with the rear of a 2014 Honda CR-V it was traveling behind. The impact caused the operator of the motorcycle to be ejected onto the roadway, resulting in critical injuries.
Rural Metro Fire responded swiftly to the scene, and both drivers were transported to Onvida Health for medical treatment. The driver of the Honda CR-V sustained minor injuries. Tragically, despite medical efforts, the operator of the Harley-Davidson, later identified as Abraham Corral, succumbed to his injuries.
At just 34 years old, Abraham Corral leaves behind grieving loved ones who are now faced with an unimaginable loss. He was more than a motorcyclist involved in a crash—he was a son, a family member, a friend, and a valued part of the Yuma community. His passing serves as a painful reminder of how quickly life can change and how precious every moment truly is.
Authorities have confirmed that next of kin has been notified, and the case remains under investigation at this time. Officials noted that speed may have been a contributing factor in the collision.
