73-Year-Old James Culver Killed in Henderson Shooting; 20-Year-Old Harold Farmer Arrested

HENDERSON, Ky. (WFIE) — James Culver, 73, was tragically killed in a shooting Wednesday morning in Henderson, according to the Henderson Police Department, with authorities announcing the arrest of 20-year-old Harold Farmer in connection with his death. Officers responded to a home in the 1100 block of Powell Street, near the intersection of Julia and Powell Streets, where Culver was found suffering from gunshot injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police stated that the incident appeared to be domestic-related. Harold Farmer was taken into custody and arrested on a charge of murder as investigators worked to piece together the circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting.
