In Loving Memory of Jason Brock

CLINTON COUNTY, Ohio — A Hillsboro family and the greater Clinton County community are mourning the tragic loss of Jason Brock, 36, who was killed Monday evening in a single-vehicle rollover crash in Green Township, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Troopers say the fatal accident occurred shortly after 7 p.m. on Ohio 73. Brock was driving a 2007 Dodge Ram pickup truck when the vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway and into a ditch. The truck rolled multiple times, and Brock was ejected from the vehicle, suffering fatal injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators noted that Brock was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. A 21-year-old passenger, also from Hillsboro, was inside the truck and was treated at the scene for what troopers described as minor injuries.

As authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash, loved ones are left grappling with the sudden loss of a man taken far too soon. Jason Brock is remembered by family and friends as someone whose presence mattered, whose life held meaning, and whose absence now leaves a painful void.

Tragedies like this ripple far beyond the roadway, touching families, friends, and entire communities. Brock’s passing is a solemn reminder of how quickly life can change and how precious every moment truly is.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol has not released additional details, and the investigation into what led up to the crash remains ongoing.

As Clinton County mourns, thoughts and prayers are with Jason Brock’s family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. May he be remembered not for the circumstances of his passing, but for the life he lived and the memories he leaves behind. May he rest in peace.
